Jessica Pitcairn

About Jessica

Jessica is a costume designer happy to be back in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio after spending 9 years living in New York City working in Film, Televsion, and Theatre.  She has worked on television series such as Law & Order and Fringe, films such as Eat, Pray, Love and Taking Woodstock, and for theatres including Lincoln Center Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club.  Locally, Jessica has designed costumes for theatres including The Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Human Race Theatre, The Know Theatre of Cincinnati, and Xavier University.

 

Jessica prides herself on designing for the character and believes that clothing can help tell the story.  She loves colaborating with the director, actors, and fellow desigers to make the best production possible.

 

Jessica holds an MFA from Brandeis University and a BFA from Denison University.  She is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829 in the categories of Costume Design and Costume Coordination.
